As everyone else said, 2004+ the engine is rubbermounted.
However, as the owner of a solid-mount, I don't see what the big deal is. I do thousands of miles per year at all kinds of riding speeds, and I just don't get what the big deal is between the two. I've ridden both, and it just doesn't make that big of a difference to me.

Thanks. I was hoping that they had started putting rubber motor mounts on the Sportsters before they had switched completely to EFI. Carburetors I can work on; EFI, I can not. I would really like to get a bike on which I can continue to work and that has rubber motor mounts.
2007 Sportster went all EFI like the other bikes
