Default Joker Machine A/C Breather

I have the Joker Machine A/C and its awesome...... Minus the blow by!! The JM has a built in "Baffle Breather System" which just funnels the oil to the mouth of the carb. However, it sure doesnt work. Im trying to find a breather system/catch can system that i can use with this A/C. The problem is the way the A/C attaches. It has extra long breather bolts. The only thing i have found that may work are the DK Outlaw Breather bolts. DK makes them for the JM A/C. I just dont know if that will solve my blow by issue. Im already running about 1/2 qt low. The blow is killin me. Especially when it spews all down the side of my bike. Anyone with the JM A/C shed any light on this matter?
Thanks

I've heard that about the Joker A/C. I've done about 500 miles since I installed mine and it doesn't seem to have any oiling issues.

We have quite a few customers that have used our OUTLAW Breather Bolts with the JM air cleaners with good success. However, if your bike is puking an abnormal amount of oil, you will see some with the Breather Bolts too...no drips, but some misting.

Another option is a Traditional Breather System.

It was puking oil before i took about 1/2 a quart of oil out. Now i get a little drip here and there on the exhaust and mist spots on my oil tank. Would your breather bolts fix the misting issue? Im willing to try anything to rid myself of this oily mess. I would use a sure fire traditional catch can type system, but, dont know if it will work with the JM A/C

Very interesting! What size do you suggest for JM Air Cleaner?

Also, are the breather bolt filters cleanable? or can I buy replacements?

You might still get a little misting, but no drips. I just realized the traditional breather may not work...not sure if the bolts are long enough for the JM.

2" is what you will need.

Yes, the foam between the two metal mesh screens is the same kind used in lawn mower air cleaners. You can clean it or replace it. You can also double up on the thickness and reduce any misting if you get that with the stock thickness.

I have had my JM air cleaner for a couple of years now and I have had no issues with oil drippage from the filter unless I have been riding it really hard. When get some residual seepage from the bottom of the filter it is usually time to clean and re-oil the filter anyway.

You're probably still getting a few drips from the oil-soaked filter so over time it will stop, or clean it. Mine was still doing the "annoying" drip until I got a K&N filter cleaning kit & hasn't dripped since.

I was losing 10 oz every 600 miles, new head breather "umbrella" seals solved my (S/E with K&N)A/C oil drip
I found a really cool article mod for breather kit catch cans, the dude was pretty creative & detailed & even posted links of supplies used
Search the XLforum.net for cool catch can + Nitemarez cosmetic solution to get the whole story
