Default Carb

Hey fellas, Im poking my head here from the softail side of the house.. I have friend who is need of carb for a 2005 sportster.. Its cracked she is not sure how that happened.. Anywho, if you guys can point me in the right direction of a good used one and cheap, it would greatly be appreciated.. Thanks

not sure about the mikuni but you can get stock used carbs pretty cheap on the bay

A Mikuni HSR42 will fit and is a good carb. You can probably find a stock CV on ebay for very little. Just look for one after about '88 so that is has the accelerator pump. They're all basically the same with only different needles/jets.
