EGay.....got an 08 myself, only got about 7k mi on her though. did the wheel lock up on you while riding? my buddy had a 47 knuckle and he was riding down the road at about 45mph, front wheel bearings shot out of the wheel at mach speed, almost took a guys eye out standing on the corner and the wheel siezed and locked up sending him over the bars. he's got 9 lives though, that was #6 and he's had two since. dude just won't die.....

edit***this dude has a freaking set for 250$. awesome price if theyre in good condish but he has them labeled wrong. he has the rear as a 17" and it's a 16.

They need to do a recall on those bearings. My '09 has had the front and rear replaced. The rear locked up while riding but I was going relatively slow when it happened.

I called the MoCo. and complained about the quality of the bearings as I have read similar stories all over the web. My bike had 6k miles when the bearings on the front and back needed to be replaced.

How long are these bearings supposed to last? That's pretty scary stuff!

This is pretty scary! Are 2012 models supposed to be affected?
Did they ever issue a recall?
MoCo exposes its *** for monster lawsuits with something like this left in the wild.

Good to know.
Regulator blows, I don't give a $hit. It's bad to be stranded in the middle of the road, but nothing a road-side can't fix.
Flying, *** upward, in the middle of the HW because of a locked wheel, gives me the *******!
