Default Mustang Vintage Solo , adapting to fit 4.5

anyone had any luck making a 3.3 gallon seat fit a 4.5 gallon tank ? I didn't think i'd be getting a bigger tank when I bought the Mustang Vintage Solo 6 months ago .
Mustang site doesn't give any dimensions for the 2 seats , but there looks like there is a fair amount of wiggle room for a leather tech to remove some off the front ?

Default measurement needed

from front of the seat where it meets the tank to seam at the top of the seat behind your butt. just a straight measure not linear .

13 and a quarter from front to the first top seam (2009 1200L) hope this helps.

13.25" for a 12.5" vintage solo on 2012 custom sporty.

Default 13.25 vs 14.75

in case anybody wanted to know the difference ? my 3.3 gallon Mustang Vintage Solo measures 14.75" front to top seam.
pretty sure my leather guy can make the 1.5" adjustment .
that will be a lot cheaper than a new seat . probably lose the logo in the process of tucking in the front , no biggie for me
