Scratching top of battery cover with my jeans
Today I noticed some scratches on the top curved edge of the battery cover On my 1200C.
I think my left leg is rubbing the cover when I have my feet down at at stop.
Anybody else ever notice this?
Any suggestions to stop this from happening.

Buff the scratches out if you can then put a coat of wax on it. Works like a charm. Just clay bar it before hand to get all the dirt out.

Are the stock covers plastic or painted metal?
