What gives? All the dealerships around here are out of stock and don't know when they're getting more. Can't even find any online. not even on eBay!

 

I ordered one at the HD web site.
They took CC information, but no notification nor CC charge have been posted yet.

 

Here I thought it was just my dealer. I ordered one last week, let's see when it finally comes in, just hope it's in time for my 5k service.

 

That's why I would like to have one since I'm quickly approaching 1,000 miles and am going to do the service myself. Maybe this is a evil scheme by HD to purposely starve the market of 2012 service manuals to get more people to bring them into the dealership haha!

 

Check out amazon.com. I ordered mine from there. It was used so I got it for less.

 

I highly recommend the stealer for the 1,000 mile service. It is the final step in the manufacturing process.

This is puzzling about the lack of service manuals available.

Mine, in Toronto, took over a month to come in and was over $100. I would have really liked to see them include a PDF so I could put it on my iPad. Thing's a phonebook lol!

 

I don't know if it's unique to the 2012 manuals, my 2009 manual took a month to arrive at my local dealer.

 

Guss I got lucky then. I didn't even call first - just took the ride out there one Saturday and they had it. ABC Harley in Waterford, MI - maybe they have more and will ship it.
