Default Cleaning engine cover or recent Nighsters

I always used simple rags and/or microfiber clothes to clean my bikes (not a fan of soap and high pressure water).
But the engine cover on my new Nightster is like velcro for rags and microfiber clothes
Any suggestion?

Yea, use something like "Pig-Spit" spay the cases and let sit several minutes and wipe excess up with old wadded up teeshirt. Restores finish as when bike was in the showroom.

I use a soft bristle scrub brush on the engine side covers. Hot water and dawn dish soap.

Pig Spit, for a second there, I though you were joking (never heard of it)
Doesn't you t-shirt get stuck on the cover?
I tried yesterday with some shop rags I had, and it was literally tearing them apart.

If you spray the stuff on evenly with a good coat all the rag does is smooth the film out, and you let it dry......................Looks like new.
