I've bend riding with my sundowner seat for 3 years now, it fits my butt bones perfect now. It does put you a little closer to your controls, and higher in the seat by an inch or so.

I also have the Sundowner, its really comfy, but im looking for a more subtle low profile seat for when im just riding around town.

You will get lots of answers and options on seats. But, to answer your original question, I have worn out a Sundowner seat. After over 70,000 miles and 15 states, it needs to be recovered or replaced. It's still comfy, just starting to crack here and there.

The Sundowner works just fine for me. Don't have anything to compare it to though.

I like mine a lot and so does my rider, my 18 year old grand daughter. She says it is much better than stock but she would much rather ride in my seat on her own.

Thanks gents. Looked at the Mustangs...just too damn pricey. I think I'll give the Sundowner a go. Thanks again
