Default Any tips for stripped bolts?

I want to replace the shocks on my 2008 Nightster and just looked at the bolts and one of the torx bolt's head is stripped. So I'm looking for any tips to get that little **** out

1.Try to tap in an Allen wrench if you can get it to wedge in enough to get some bite.

2.Drill it out and use an easy out screw extractor to hold it.

3.Drill out the head then get some vise grips on the exposed thread section and turn it out. If these are your lower shock bolts, hold the jam nut while you turn the headless bolt.

Replace the torx bolt with a button head allen so you don't have this problem again.

Dremel a slot in the head, get a flat head screwdriver that has a square or hex shaft, put the screwdriver in the slot then use a wrench on the screwdriver shaft to get the leverage you need.
