Default Buckhorns on My Roadster

My 2006 Roadster has the stock flat track bars installed. Since my surgery on my right arm, I can't ride comfortably any more with the stock bars because I have to lean forward and put weight on my hands. Surprisingly the buckhorns on my Virago are very comfortable.

Has anyone tried buckhorns on a Roadster? The problem that is encountered with a Roadster is that, because of the dual front brakes, the flexible brake hose from the master cylinder to the metal brake line is pretty short. I'm wondering if the brake line will fit the buckhorns without modification since they have more pull back but are more narrow.

Thanks for any advice.

I have had the same concerns since wanting more of a pull-back set of bars. I have previously "freed" my bars from their yoke and done a "pull back" just to see how far that brake line (and other cables) will go. IMHO, I think a longer brake line is going to be required, but you never really know without first trying.
