And fixed the seat:

And ground off 2" on pegs for fat people:

Being 125 pounds, I found all the controls too big, brake included:

I like the white tape. It matches the seat and whitewall tires. Cool.

Looks awesome man. Ive never seen anybody grind the pegs down. Once I get cruising I like to move my feet out a little more. Pretend my nightsters a little fetter than it is, haha

Hey guys, thanks Yeah, I wish I could say griding the pegs was something I attempted to be 'cool' but the truth is, I have narrow hips (I guess that's the issue?), and I was constantly hitting the OEM pegs when coming to a stop. So I bought these "Ness Tech" items specifically to chop them up, didn't want to bugger the HD pegs in case I ever have to sell it.

They are about 1.5" shorter than the HD pegs, and it makes a huge difference...my jeans don't snag the pegs now when coming to a stop.

As for stretching out, I'm looking to put on some inconspicuous hiway pegs. Though with my handlebar position I think I'll look like a taco lol

Thanks man. But I just started sanding the rest of the tank lol. I want to let it rust and see if I can get some sanding patterns and hopefully, like when you remove rust on tools and get that black under the rust, it will do that. Worst case is it doesn't work and I paint it...or not lol.

Using 40 grit and a wheel thingie to put some patterns in. We will see. But the beer store is closed til noon so I won't get started til then

Might vinegar it just for a quick peek at what to expect. Then just throw it back on the bike and let time do its thing...
