Default The dangers of a helmet

Was about to throw the brain bucket on this morning when something caught my eye...there was a stow away on board. Mr Brown Recluse. Guess I need to just stop throwing the helmets on a shelf in the garage I am ugly enough without loosing an ear or my nose

I've been equally wary since I found a wasp making its home in mine. Luckily it flew out as I started to put the helmet on. The proverbial "Bee in the Bonnet".

I leave my helmet on my bike, but I guess I should put it in a helmet bag... Another thing is make sure you have a sticker that says in case of accident do not remove riders helmet....

I prefer to bring my helmet in with me after I get home. If it's hot outside, the helmet starts off cool being inside in the air conditioning. If it's cold outside I don't freeze my head when putting it on because it's been inside in the heat. Simple solution!

wow you are extremely lucky my friend , i was bitten by a recluse and had the entire side of my calf / lower leg turn into a large rotting weeping open wound for like 2-3 months , it took massive doses of antibiotics too defeat this , i cant imagine something like that on the head.
