Default flanges

so i need exhaust flanges for my new pipes. can i you the existing flanges on my v&h sideshots? if so how do they come off and how do they install on to my stock sporty headers? do they just slip on over the pipe at the cylinder end then the ring clip to hold it on? any special tools i need to get them off my existing pipes? are there any gaskets i should change while i'm at it?

thanks boys.

Yeh, should be something similar to a C clip that holds the flange to the flared end of the header. Just your basic C clip pliers or i think it's thick enough to grab it by hand, i think that's how I did it. The metal weave gaskets are nicely tucked into the exhaust port flange...you'll see, they pop right out with a pair of needlenose (don't plan on reusing them), new ones are about $10 at the stealer.

You'll just slip the clip and flange onto the other pipes.

buy new gaskets while you're at it.
