I've been getting less than 40 mpg on my scoot. I live in the city with a lot of stop signs and stop lights. Not exactly the best recipe for great gas mileage. I've gotten as few as 28 mpg on a tank. The best was 45. Once. I have the 3.3 tank and still less than 2000 miles on the scoot. I'm hoping once I get to 3000 I'll start averaging close to 45 mpg overall. Although I'm not holding my breath.

I would say that with the 2.2 gal tank you could expect a figure like you do. In fact, 50mpg is not bad for a new Sporty. Expect to see some improvement after more miles.

what about your reserve? how much gas fits in the main and the reserve 2.2 total /(1.3 main)(.9 reserve) is this right?

I'm not sure if we are getting bad gas mileage. If u have the standard tank ur getting about the same we just have to fill up more often. If u are getting 100 miles on ur 3.5 or 2.sumthing ur get about 40-50 mpg just like we are

My 2003 883r has the 3.3 tank. I get 42-48 mpg depending on the riding conditions
