Default Rear fender options

Hey fellas, so I've been lurking around learning everything I possibly can from all of the threads and builds etc. Starting to do some minor mods, but having to go slow due to money. Mreed's air filter write up was the most amazing thing I could find for a badass mod on the cheap. But I've been seeing this bike in pic's and on youtube:

If anyone has any idea of how he made that rear fender set-up I'd love to hear anything anyone has. Id more than love to do this to my Iron when I've got all of the performance figured out. Thanks fellas!

that's a 48 front fender on the rear. pretty certain of that. whip your grinder out or your sawzaw and start chopping those struts off dude. once the struts are off and you relocated the rear lights you can get to work on the fender. didn't say what year bike you have though so i don't know where your ecm is located. 07-09 they were on the rear fender so youd have to relocate that as well. it's a lot of work but can easily be done. many folks and myself have done it. good luck.

love chopped rear fender sporties. Changes the whole dynamic of the bike. It is the first mod that you can do, that severely messes up your resale value of the bike, which shows that you have committed to your mods. I will do min soon, but still being a big *****

love the look, but is there anyway to chop the fender even if slightly so and retain 2up riding? have thought about going with a springer seat and using struts and making a new sissy bar that mounts to the axle plates then mounts to the fender with bungs for support, any thoughts?
