1999 1200S Petcock question...
Right behind where the fuel hose connects to the petcock on my '99 1200S there appears to be another place for a second smaller hose on the petcock. This nipple leaks a few drops of gas when running. Can someone tell me what this is and is there supposed to be a hose connected to it? If so where does this hose terminate?
Thanks

Sounds like you need a new petcock. It shouldn't leak fuel from there unless the diaphragm in the petcock is bad.
That second place is for a vacuum line that should be connected to the carb. The petcock isn't supposed to flow fuel to the carb unless there's a vacuum present, which means the motor has to at least be turning over to create the vacuum. It's a safety, that prevents dumping your gas tank on the garage floor, should the float stick open in the carb. and the petcock was left turned on.
