Default Drag Inspired XL50 - 12 Completed Pictures!

Well I finally finishedthe Drag Style Conversion of my 2007 XL50 today. This includes the "bling bling"additions seen in the last6 pictures, and I have also included a link to my dyno sheet for those that want to see what it is capable of horsepower wise. Hope you like these pictures.

The bike is now cleaned up and parked for the remainder of the winter. When I pull it out next, I will be adding the front chin spoiler to finish off the drag look. The bike handles awesome, it looks sleek and sinister for a Sporty, and it sounds nasty with the new pipes and the stage 1 conversion. It made 78.9 horsepower on the dyno with 79.4 ft-lbs of torque. Thats pretty impressive, and I can now buz this thing to 6500 rpm. Cams and headwork will be done next fall so I can appreciatea full season of ridingwith Stage 1 mods before doing Stage 2. Here are the links to the dyno.

Cheers everyone!

Looks great...Do you plan on doing any touring with it? I am curious about the confort factor after 100 miles. BTW, I really like the seat...it realy does justice to the XL50 strips.

Thanks guys...

The exhaust is the V&H slip ons and simply put, they sound awesome. The seat is a little lower than stock (about1.5" to 2' or so) and it makes a real difference at the lights. I have already ridden this about 150 miles since completion, and no real problems with comfort. If it does become a bit much with forward controls and drag bars, I would then add a 2.5 swept riser to the bars which would resolve any issue. Time will tell....
