Default Probably screwed up.

So I got a relocation kit for my front turn signals and I've been havin a hell of a time getting the bolts on the forks to break loose. And I had to replace my mirrors because one of them snapped in half and the threads don't match up. So instead of letting the turn signals dangle down I went ahead and cut them off and tucked the wires into the top of the forks. Well I went out to start the bike for work and it had a hard time starting for some reason. Possibly low on gas. But it started then my headlight went out. I have no idea why but I think I may have fried the wires or something. Do any of you have any suggestions on what to do. FYI I have an 02 1200.

It sounds like you've got a ground problem somewhere. I'd check for any loose connections and exposed wires to see if that may be causing your problems.

Yup, something is being grounded that shouldn't be. Retrace your steps and check your fuses.

Ok I've gone back and checked my fuses. Didn't see anything abnormal. As far as I could tell. <--- amature. Double checked headlight bulb. It looked good. Turned key on with wired pulled out. Still had a hard time starting. Tested turn signals. Left one works properly. Right one stays solid. Both without the front turn signals hooked up. But still no headlight.
