Did you remove main fuse before u did wiring????

 

If not check fuses first before u take everything apart

 

Yes, and also unhooked the pos battery connection..... I checked the accessory fuse, but, it looked fine.... and as mentioned, the lights on the speedo and license plate work, but, nothing else....

 

I'm not the most experienced, but, I guess a blown fuse would be a "broken" filament in the middle, correct??

 

Yes . I had similar prob after washing my bike first time blew two fuses plate light came on and headlight but wouldn't start and no tail lights

 

A broken filament will cause your light to not work... However, the circuit should be wired in parallel so that if the headlight blows the other lights in the circuit (i.e. speedo light, turn signals and markers) would still come on...

I could be wrong, though.
