Default Just Painted Derby Cover..

Just finished painting up my derby cover. I used some 400 sand paper and self etching primer. The cover itself is painted with Truck bed coating, looks good IMO. Real easy and saved some big $$$. Hope you enjoy.

Very nice...always wondered why HD doesn't paint the derby cover black on the Iron motors...good job!

If they did they couldnt sell that wrinkle black one! haha...

Good job though, a buddy of mine just used some of that bed liner on parts of his bike, seems to be very durable so far.

That bed liner stuff should keep the cover from getting scratched up. I had thought about using that stuff on the underside of the front fender so it will clean off easier and prevent rusting from stone chips and such.

Thanks everyone. I have used this liner for years. i love this stuff i even have a helmet painted with it. its like my duct tape
