Vied vs PC5

Vied vs PC5
2008 xl1200c, vance and hines short shots, arlen ness stage 2, PC5. I added the PC5 along with exhaust and AC and have been trying different maps with not much luck. Now it seems like a $200-400 dyno run is what it is going to take to get it running decent.
After I purchased the PC5, I started finding info on Vied (or x14ied or xied). It sounds like everyone is very happy running them. Also I have installed the O2 sensor eliminators per the PC5 instructions so I guess I am running a open loop system. With the Vied, the sensors are installed and the closed loop system is adaptive to conditions.
Should I sell the PC5 and get the Vied?

The ViED's will work great with your set-up. But so will the PCV. Just a matter of getting the right map in it. Since you already have the PCV, I would call Jamie at Fuelmoto on Monday and they will fix you up with a map that will have you running good (assuming there is no other problem going on with your bike).
Have you checked for intake and exhaust leaks? Either one of those can cause the bike to run poorly regardless of the PCV or ViED.
The only upside of the ViED over the PCV is that you plug em in and they are ready to go (and they are less expensive). Since you have the PCV already, I would take a little time and get the right map for it.
No need for a dyno unless you want to squeeze every last bit out of potential out of it.
