Not trying to be rude or tuff. If the bars aren't dimpled and you return them.... That's just foolish. Make dew. Returning those bars will be a bigger headache than internal wiring them. Seriously.
I'm just busting *****, man. I agree with you completely. I was thinking of grinding out notches in the bars. But I wasn't sure what that would do structurally considering it's what steers it. I also thought about notching the controls out a bit to give the cables relief, but I kind of want to just leave those alone.
Yes, notching out the controls is another option. I'd rather wire them internally. Its more correct. But both will work. Just don't wanna see you go through the grief of returning the bars, possibly not getting a refund/waiting for the other new bars.
Solved. I have brand new dimpled drag bars that I bought a few months ago and aren't using. I'm chopping the straight part off and using those instead of the tubes that were sent in the kit. Much less overall hassle for the final product I'm looking for. Tomorrow nights project.

are those bars hollow? if so choose carefully your grips and you could have the added bonus of bar end mirrors
