I just put 18's on my 92 low-rider an the guy be for me cut all the plugs off to install his drags. it is time consuming but if the bikes not been molested I figure any on could do it in a day

I just did a bar swap on a sporty last week, internally wired burley drags. I didn't have to change cables or brake line, but i only charged the guy $100 labor. It only took me 2 hrs.

Get the service manual, I would suggest the factory manual from a dealer or may find it on ebay.

The first time I changed bars and cables it took me all day. Now I've done it so many times I could do it all in under 2 hours with ease. It is not complicated at all. It just is a lot of work and doing anything the first time takes more time.

LMFAO. I'll do it for $300 to undercut the dealers. But yeah it's a peace of cake if you know how to use a socket wrench.

Sportster Models Service Manual for your year bike...it's has step by step on every component on the bike...written instructions and diagrams/pictures.
