Here's a video of my bike idling with my V&H Short Shots. I love the way the carburetored motor idles. Sounds like it has a hot cam.

Thanks a Million!!! I had been wanting to hear what the V/H slip-fits sounded like on an 07!!! I had wanted to get the shortshots but thought my gal (who I bought the bike for) might burn the pipes with the mid mounts and all but heck the slip-fits sound excellent wow done alot of mods to that XL50 drag bars and forward controls and all BTW I am XL50 #872 (black)

 

Yea they sound decent for mufflers. That soundclip has the bike running cold at 1300 rpm and they sound much better when the bikes warmed up and puttin about 900-1000 rpm. Sounds more like a bike withlarger cams in it once it's warmed up. I've added the seat since, and i'm seriously thinking about hot rodding this another 25 horses yet. I think i'll get a few cruises in before doing that as i'm sure some of the streetability of the bike will be lost if Igo thestage 3 route with heads, cams and valve train. I like torque, but the horsepower andET is what i'm really after. Nitrous is always an option. Here's a more recent shot of the bike.
