Default Helped a down biker yesterday

Me and my buddy was out for a ride yesterday to get some lunch, we tunred on a back road and seen some guys trying to lift a fat boy out of a ditch-it was on it's left side so we stoped. At first I thought he just fell of the drive way, but once I got to the bike and seen all the blood and looked at the bike it was clear that is not what happend. Me, my buddy and his buddy got the bike somewhat out of the ditch and on the side stand, it was a sweet older Fat Boy that was all messed up, front twisted, tank smashed on left side, rashed front fender cracked dercy cover and other broken stuff. The guy was an older guy, had a nickle sized hole in his left hand, some rash on his arms and legs and a bit on his helmet. He wrecked into someone ditch so they came out to help as well, My buddy is a first aid responder at work so he wrapped the guys hand up the best he could till the EMT's got there. The guy was kinda out of it, but said he driffed off the road and then slid out. Once the EMT's got there we rode off. Felt good to help some one out.

Glad you guys stopped to help. Doesnt matter if its a car, bike, anything if I see a scene I hate when people dont stop to try and help until EMT's or Police arrive.

Dude sorry to hear about your friend, I lost a very good friend in a bike wreck back in 2004 and I still think about him to this day. No the crash was in Streetsboro on Diaginal rd right by the RT 303 split. The peoples ditch he wrecked in to-the guy was a sport bike rider so he was right out there as well and his fam too. Everyone was right on it and trying to take care of everything. The Streetsboro cop that showed up was kinda being a D-bag, and if you seen this cop you would not be surprised LOL!

This was the first time I had the bike out in almost a month, due to the weather we have been having and me just getting a nice 87 Trans Am a few weeks ago that has been taking all my time and money. What a way to start a nice ride, but I was just glad we could help out. Wish I knew the guys name so I could check up on him.

Thumbs up MAJOR KUDOS to you.

This is why the motorcycle community is such a tight knit group of people, they will always go out of their way to help somebody be it a biker or a cage rider. MAJOR KUDOS to you and your buddy.

I would want someone to stop and help me. If us bikers do not look out for eachother then who's going to? Most people just want to turn their head and act like they did not see someone in a time of need and in my book that is not right. I mean sure if the cops and EMS are there then don't get in the way, but if not you might be all the differance in the world.
