Just wondering if anyone had mounted a courtesy light on a sportster? I was out for a ride the other day when we were paged to a fire. I popped on my 4 ways and headed to the firehall. Afterwards I was wondering if there was a good way to mount a courtesy light on my bike.

 

I am not sure what kind of lights are on Canadian Emergency Vehicles. But around here, you can buy strobe lights or modules to hook up to your lights to make them strobe and get a siren to install on the bike somewhere so you are seen as an emergency vehicle and not someone just being an a$$.

 

Where I'm at we can have a red strobe light, but no siren or wig-wag headlights. I know they make emergency lights for motorcycles see them on all the police bikes but I'm trying to find something a little less noticable unless it's on.

 

Maybe some small red strobe lights and mount them under the lower tree and one inside or under your tail light lense or something.

 

You can get colored LEDs with clear lenses and clear bulbs. Pretty inconspicuous til you turn them on. Mount under triple tree.
