When lengthening my rear shocks do I need to lengthen the fork springs too?

I've been thinking about going with the 12.5" or the 13" and will go with the 12.5 hoping that even with my 220lb (ish) frame that I will get a comfortable ride. I think the Progressive springs with the 7w oil is what I'll get.
