Default forward controls

Who makes a good set of these? My HD dealer quoted me 400 for the HD brand ones but if there are some aftermarket ones that are just as good in quality for cheaper I'd rather go that route.

I have a 2012 iron

check the classifieds here...

they go fast as you could imagine when they are posted but they are considerably less then buting from the stealership... also check ebay. I have seen bad reviews on the "ebay brand" over seas edition and breaking issues.. good luck hunting either ways

+1 on buying some take offs. I'm actually switching to mids (bought off eBay) this weekend, the bike came with forwards. Ill keep the forwards in case i dont like the mids but everyone tells me mids are better.

Good luck.

Ps I love your FFDP avatar. I'm a fan.

If you can't find a set of takeoffs for sale, the HD ones are worth every single penny. Easy install too.

Stick with the HD controls. I've not heard a single good thing about any other manufacturer's forward controls, especially the cheap ones you find on ebay.

+++1 on the HD parts. You can save money elsewhere. Foot controls are too important IMHO.

Don't quote me, but I thought when I got mine that it was '06 and up.

But I def wouldn't go with cheap for foot controls...
