I spent this weekend on the Dragon and Skyway for the first time and let me say it was amazing. I definitely got a feel for my bike and gained alot of confidence while also finding the bikes limits and strengths. I highly recommend this ride for anybody and I also look forward to the next trip to the Dragon.

I totally agree, it's an amazing riding area. We went in September which is bear hunting season. It's a little unnerving to see so many hunters standing along the road with their rifles and hunting dogs. We did see bear, too.

 

A bunch of us went last year in May. It was a blast.

 

Not bike related... but I destroyed a brand new set of ZR rated tires on my modded GTI going though the tail... good times. Definitely want to get back down there with the bike one of these days.

My buddy told me the last time he was there he had to keep pulling over to let sports cars that wanted to haul *** go past.

 

I was just on the Dragon and Cerohala yesterday (Monday).
Hint: I never go there on Fri-Sun, too much other traffic and group events going on. Best time to ride the Dragon is Mon-Wed, when everyone else is working.

 

Me and the wife will be there on the 21st (a monday) and stay for a few days . Thanks for the heads up on the traffic . Hopefully i can avoid a lot of it.
