I love the sleekness of my sporty, but if I were to get a bigger, heavier bike, I think it will be the Heritage Softail. They are just retro chic. What about you? What bike do you have your eye on?

If you are looking for something that will 'tour' all day long, day after day, but still be comfortable and not have the weight and size of the huge "touring bikes", it's hard to go wrong with the Softail FatBoy.
I have the Harley detachable windshield, leather bags, and sissy bar/storage rack, and it can go from stripped down cruiser to full dress tour mode in a couple of minutes.

Anyway, I'll keep my Sporty, much too fun in twisties and around town, looking for acruise/tour bike for long rides now that my woman wants to ride (not 2-up, been there done that). I'm looking for a Heritage Softail or Road King at present and seeing some really good buys this time of year. Got a couple of months to decide and find a best buy.

I'll keep my Sportster, thank you very much! I use it for basic transportation in the good weather as well as touring (so far up to 1,800 miles). Most of my riding is in 300-mile daily round trips but I plan on a cross-country trip from NJ to Portland, Oregon, on up to BC, and then back home through Canada this coming summer or next. My XL1200R suits me fine for everything I ask of it, and then some...
