I agree with some of the other responses, it depends on the look you are going for. I put a set of V&H straight shots with angled tips on my 2001 and love em. Plenty loud and gives me the look I was wanting.

i put V&H big radius on my 11' iron and i love the way they sound and look. a bit pricey but way worth the money!

I would suggest checking out the Rush slip ons with 1.75" baffle. They are probably somewhere between the SE and V&H slip ons and are my favorite sounding muffler.[/quote]

I just put in the 1.5s. Sound great. Throaty...like a Harley should sound.
I did, however, also buy a set of the 1.75s to play around with when I feel like it.
( might be tomorrow )

They're pretty darned simple to change if the wrap doesn't wad up on you.
So my vote's for Rush, too!

I have a 2003 883r. It came with a 2-into-1 stock exhaust. I put the Screamin Eagle single muffler on it. It sounded like a moped. I put Vance & Hines straightshots on it. Sounds GREAT
