re-did mine again. I powder coated the filter cover to match the screen mesh. Use to be a brushed aluminum color on the ribbed cuts and RSD logo. Now the screen and cover are brass coated to match the rest of my bike!
I believe it should be pretty and improve performance. This is my home made forward mount, double wide filter, internal mounted 1 1/4 velocity stack, with custom cover welded up out of 2 ham cans and aluminum trim to match the rest of my bike.
I just took my factory breather apart to the bare essentials and painted it black, quick easy and didnt cost any money! I plan on adding an aftermarket one eventually but this will get me by for now

That is not the factory AC, that is the SE stage I kit with no cover on it, stokc filter and backing plate looks nothing like that. I wish I could post a pix of my set up, but can't here at work. I cut and painted an aftermarker cover to expose my K&N, I have the SE stage I baking plate and K&N made for it.

well then I took apart whatever this one is. It looks pretty stock to me though. It was on my bike when I purchased it. Not sure why anyone would spend money on buying an aftermarket breather this big
