Still planning on upgrading but in the meantime I've been rocking this. Looks stock but I bought a screamin eagle backplate with filter for $40 (Craigslist) then cut 1.5" off the cover to expose the element

Built this for my current chop. fabricated the bracket system for it to addapt a lawn mower air filter to fit the carb and toped it with the top piece of ford tractor gas cap. also it doesn't use gaskets. havn't run it yet...I'll have to report back on its functionality...but appears as though it'll do
