Short lived romance...bought it just in February, already gone. Loved the bike, and I'll miss it, but the solid engine mounts and 883 gearing on a 1200 don't do well on the highway. My search for an '04-'06 1200 Sporty or an affordable Dyna is well underway.

I'm looking at rubber mounted Sporties and Dynas. I like to highway ride 2up, so I need to get something I can run all day and not kill my nuts!

I let my 04 1200R go three years ago - I have a Electra Glide - but I missed my Sportster.
It took a while to find the right bike for the right price. White was my last color choice, but the bike and price make it worth it.

I found a 04 1200C, gonna get tags today. A stock well Loved bike - time to throw away a few dollars.

Slip ons, jetting, spark plugs and AC may be purchased today.

I enjoy the Sporty ride.

 

Sportsters are my favorite, but I would really like to have a Dyna for 2 up. Make sure you look at and ride both. In a perfect world I would have a Sportster and Dyna with the 120R motor in it haha.
