Brawler looks great on your bike. Makes the paint stand out much better ... a real race-inspired look. Very nice.

Nice, I was considering that, but couldn't quite afford it. I picked up a Ultima Showdown gel seat on ebay for $100 including s&h and have been pretty satisfied. I really like that Brawler though. Looks great!!

I am in the process of purcahsing a seat , well as soon as I make up my mind that is.
I bought a custom tank to get away from the peanut tank andI was just informed I now have to buy a new seat since my curent one will not work.

I don't do any long trips, just around town and maybe a couple hundred miles one way that's all
I want the barebones seat as well but really unsure of it. Since I don't do long trips and the longest I am ever on the bike is when I am at the Myrtle Beach rallys do you think it's ok to go with it? Or is it so uncomfortble even for short rides?

Looks good. I like mine also, and they are actually more comfortable than they look, I think.

question for ya.,,, how does the seat look underneath, is it just a piece of material or does it have the openings like the stock seat, that clips onto the metal piece to hold the seat.
or is it just on the bike by the rear screw??

Good question, the seat does not come with the triangle piece like the stock one does, however the front of the seat has a little lip that goes under the gas tank, the back is held by the bolt. It stays on there pretty tight but not as good as the original, if you really push on it, it may slide a bit left or right. Other than that, it fits ok.
