i just ordered v&h short shots and a k&n air filter. will a h-d computer reflash work or is a fuel pack the way to go? its going on a 2011 nightster thanks alot!

I'm not sure about the HD reflash. If it is anything like the SEPST tune, I'm not sure it is all that good. You can see my thread HERE about how the dyno runs were. I realize I had 2:1 exhaust and it might be different so take that into consideration. According to the dyno, it ran better than without but still wasn't up to par based on the last dyno. You can see that the AFR has improved to a better number.

I didn't dare to run it full bore until I had the bike properly tuned but at part throttle, it seemed like it wasn't running well. Some sort of hesitation.

I would certainly recommend getting it dyno tuned or if you want, get the PowerVision and do it yourself. Especially, if you go any further, you will find that the cheap fixes might leave you wanting.

 

I was told that the fuel packs cause a ton of problems on sportsters. But the dealer told me that and they're a bunch of lying bastards.
