Symtom: bike idels great but I cannot give any throttle very little anyways csrb was just rebuilt due to a stuck float and whynot its off anyways so is there maybe an area to check first
oh, and does the accelerator pump work....to test, turn the bike off and turn the throttle while looking in the carb....you should see gas spraying into the carb....
Thank you yes it spray when pulling throttle jets replaced on rebuild but possible trash in lines. Thanx for quick replys is there any deescriptions with pis for the poor man I kinda wanna check but dont no where to start possible links to my carb or pics maybe youtube sorry im a newb and work best by see and do
It won't likely be the main jet, that doesn't start doing any significant work until your throttle is 3/4 open. I'd check the pilot jet though.
The pilot jet is only used during idle, he said it idles just fine. First I would pull the A/C and look inside the throat of the carb as the bike was running and check to see if the slide slides up and down with the throttle. If it does then turn off the bike. Make sure the rod that goes up into the accelerator pump is inserted correctly. If so, slide up the slide and turn the throttle to see if any fuel is spraying into the throttle. If it doesn't it could be a bad accelerator pump. If it does spray, I would lean towards the float adjustment or your fuel filter is just so clogged that it does not supply enough fuel to keep up with the demand.
