Default Fiberglass Seatpan

I got a bit of a wild hair up my **** and decided I wanted to make my own seat pan for a 2up setup. I'm trying to figure out if I should glass in a couple of smaller pieces over the factor tab to create a little hump that I can pad over. I think that's the only logical thing unles I hack the tab off and I'm not ready to do that yet. This is what I've done today between honey-do things:

I'll add more foam to the butt end of the front seat and glue/form all of this down tomorrow maybe.

Where I got to today on the seat project:

Need to do some more trimming, maybe another piece by the butt area and then some sanding to get it all smooth. Going with pleated vinyl on this I think.

Looks great. I am loving this idea. Because it leaves room for experimenting as you go along in search of what feels best for you. So far as I can tell, I see painters tape, aluminum foil or maybe aluminum tape, fiber glass mat, and strips of woven glass, and two types of foam. Is the yellow the denser foam?

Redid the profile in the back end of the seat and smoothed a few areas out. Sending it down to TJ to get covered(tuck/roll) if it's the right price. If not, I'll go to the fabric outlet and buy some vinyl and give it a go:
