No need to remove Short Shots, but the brake linkage is a bitch back at the master cylinder. You NEED a super short 1/4" drive T-30 and patience.

H-D stopped offering forwards for <03's for a while? What's up with that? Still pretty new IMO.

Mids HAVE to be for guys 5' 6" or shorter...can't imagine it any other way. Even extended forwards are cramped with stock seat and I'm only 6'2".

 

Those aren't HD forwards you have.....Those are the Kury's or Custom Chrome ones. Take a look at my photoalbum for the proper '96-'03 HD forwards. Mine are nice and sturdy.

Got it. Kury, Custom Chrome or Ebay specials, whatever I have is junk. I'll be ordering controls from the factory.
