I think it was a 1971 Honda Mini Trail 50. Got it when I was 11. Picture attached (isn't my actual bike, but I came across that picture. Looks just like my first bike. Same color, everything.)
First legal street bike was a 1974 Honda 100. Don't have a pic of that one.

my husband's 1976 FLH shovelhead.... once I got it going he ran behind me, with his arms spread out, guess he thought he was going to catch me???my brother-in-laws 1st ride was my sportster, which he got going and went for the nearest pole.... he stopped it with his feet, like the Flintstones, after that, I couldn't watch, ha ha....

this is my first bike (2006 883 custom sportster). never even been on a dirt bike bike before other than being a passenger in the late 80's. picked it up in april with 4 miles on in. have an awesome neighbor who drove it home for me. he used to teach the msf course gave me the course in the neighborhood (with my permit for any of you law enforcement types reading this - lol). took rider's edge in july and got my license the next day with 100 miles then on the bike. now i'm over 8,900, i have a lot of catching up to do. am loving it. see you guys out on the road. ride safe.

My first was a 50's-something Whizzer engine mounted to a Schwinn bicycle used on local farm & dirt roads. After high school, bought & learned more serious riding on a 1966 Suzuki X-6 Hustler for the street.
Wish I had pictures of some of my early scoots.
