I was a little scared because the pipes stayed not dirty grey....but its been three days and I just wiped it down with a dry clean rag, and all the grey came off, and now it plots perfect...like jimmy vance, and Marvin hines made them

 

Nice work on the heat shields! I did something similar 3-4 years ago, but I like how yours turned out better!
