Anyone use these in Vance & Hines Short Shots?

 

im wondering the same thing. want the short shots but want to quiet them some. toss up between these and the dk custom 158 q series.

 

Yes I have in the past, they deepen the tone, make it louder, no performance loss...

 

Real easy to make on your own if you are into that sort of thing, if you are talking about the standard baffle and not the quiet baffle. All it is is a step down step up pipe with a lolipop in it. Get a bolt and a large washer or a thumb screw, put in it and you are set. I think they are way overpriced for what they are. The pipe they come does step down a bit to restrict flow which you could easily buy and have a muffler shop take a smaller outer diameter pipe and flare the ends to the inner diameter of your short shots then put the lolipop in your self then put in your pipe.
