2005 883L for sale.
This bike is like brand new black, less than 700 miles on it. Was bought for my wife and she never really rode it much, now she is pregnant and can't ride it. Great bike if anyone is interested. $5600.00 I had pipes, a/c, jetting done already and spoke wheels. Located in South Bend, Indiana.

I have a 2006 Streetglide, this is the wife's bike i'm selling. The rest was planned, she never did ride the bike before she got pregnant. My dealer here is asking around $8500.00 for this bike new with no mods. I guess I was'nt aware that others are selling them so cheap. Maybe i'll have to hang on to it.

Ads like this are Exactly why I bought new. An 07 883L go for around $900 more than yours with a 2yr warranty, fuel inj.and No body's ever riden it.I don't think your outta line, they just don't depreciate enough for me to go used.

After dealer prep etc you would pay over 8k dollars for a bike like this. Is it worth to go with an 07...but it's still a decent deal because the smaller HDs like this don't depreciate much at all....that is unless you buy them new.

First....an 07 883L model has an MSRP of 6995....so do your math over again...and then it doesn't have the pipes, AC and download done to it which would add another 600 bucks or so.

RE: 2005 883L for sale.
Something my dad always told me....something is only worth what you can get out of it. You or anyone else can assign a value as high as you want, but bottomline is if its higher than anyone is willing to give for it, what is its true worth? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying your bike is or isn't worth your asking price. For example, before I bought the bike I have, I was about to buy a similar bike but the guy refused to compromise his price. We were within $1000 but I had already gone up alot with him refusing to budge. He then said a dealer in Lansing told him she could sell it for him for even more $$$$, so that cemented his refusal even more. Nice bike and all, but I had a budget, so I said good luck and went looking elsewhere. Found my current bike, the same exact model with tons of extras, and paid a bit more for it after dickering with the guy, a HD bike salesman. The other day I found an old email from the first guy, and after emailing him to see how things worked out for him, found that he still had the bike and was willing to dicker. Guess you need to know when to hold 'em, and when to show 'em.
Well, long story, just hope things work out for you...and enjoy that baby!
