I made a mistake and bought Rush slip-on mufflers w/2.25 baffles-can't return. Found out later too loud and will lose low end power-big oops.Will DK Thunder Torque iinserts work as well as the 1.75 inch Rush baffles? Or should I simply order the baffles. Mufflers have not yet been installed.

Agree w/PAsportster, but why can'y you return them if never installed?

 

And how do you know they're too loud if never installed?

Did you believe something you read on the interwebs?

 

The 2.25" baffles are the loudest option we offer for sportster slip-on mufflers. Most riders are happy with the 1.75" or 2.00" baffle sizes. If the original place of purchase will not process the return we can handle it directly for you. The mufflers must be new and never installed for me to assist. I'll PM my contact info.

Have Rush slip ons on all 3 of our bikes, no probs...love them

 

Loved my Rush with 1.75" muffler. Probably the best sounding and performing muffler you can put on a Sportster. I might be biased with them being based in Indiana haha
