Exhaust leak after fwd control install?
I put my fwd controls on a couple weeks ago and had to remove the front pipe to get at the brake-side components. I do not recall there being a gasket so when finished I just put the pipe back in place on the head and bolted it down. I may be paranoid but I feel like I hear a tic now. Is a gasket replacement necessary if you unbolt the header from the head for any reason?

It's wise to always replace the manifold gasket when you R&R an exhaust pipe. The gaskets are pretty cheap and it's not worth having to redo the job if it leaks.
I keep spares on-hand just like I do oil, oil filters, spark plugs, bulbs, etc.

I don't reuse condoms or gaskets.
