Help - Almost stalls when warming up/possible knocking
#11
I appreciate all the feedback and sorry that the video was not the greatest. It doesn't do the hiccup or almost stall in this video but from what you guys are saying that shouldn't be a concern and is normal.
How do I go about checking the primary chain and making the adjustments? Again, sorry I am new to bikes/Harleys so I am unfamiliar with the maintenance. Do I just pull the cover off of the primary?
Also, the warning sticker will be removed immediately if not sooner haha.

there's an inspection cover towards the top of the primary. I'm not sure about newer bikes, but the deflection on mine (the slack in it) is 3/8 to 1/2 an inch. Pull your inspection plate and see how far up you can move the chain with your finger. If it's loose, there's a nut with a stud sticking out on the bottom of the primary cover, the stud takes an allen wrench. find the right allen and hold it in place while you loosen the nut. turning the stud clockwise will tighten the chain.
