Question New Seat for 2007 1200L

Looking for a softer ride for the wife and I for my 1200L!
I've seen a lot about the Mustang seats but unfortunately money IS an object. (I'm not the richest guy.)
I've also seen people talking up the Sundowner Seat from H-D.
Are these the the best options?
Should I just suck it up and spend the money on a quality seat?
Does anyone want to sell me one?
Apologies, if this subject is worn out!

Default +1 On The Sundowner

My wife enjoyed the Sundowner on our Sporty but what you gotta do is, after you put the new seat on, when you go somewhere, always park your Sporty next to a dressed out bagger. Before you know it she'll be wanting one of those bigger, thicker, more plush touring seats! Worked for me!

I had a Mustang on my last bike. Great seat, I rode from Gunnison Colorado to Palm Springs Ca. In about 20 hrs.
On this bike I have the Sundowner, and rode from Sacramento, to Denver, in 22 hrs. Both are very comfortable.

I have the HD solo reach seat-not the reduced reach, just the regular one and I love it! It's comfortable, looks good and holds you in place nice. Best of all it's about $150.00. If i were you I would look into it.
