2011 Iron upgrade
Hey folks,
I bought my brand new Iron about a year ago...at that time I knew next to nothing about bikes...if I had known better I wouldn't have bought it but hey ! I got it so might as well **** with it !!!
Until today it was equipped with rigid struts, 16" burly apes, solo seat, a chopped rear fender and that's about it.
Today I started stripping everything down, with a purpose.
-speedo relocation
-coil relocation
-key/ignition relocation
-removal of all plastic possible
-tuck wires underneath tank, so I guess I'll have to do a lift...
-install my power commander
-install new headlight
I have found some cool relocation spots for the key/ignition switch and the coil, using only the modified stock brackets. I will post good pics when I'm done as I'm sure it'll inspire people.
My vance and hines, arlen big sucker kit & white wall tires are in the mail
