Default Saddle Bags

I have a 99 1200C and I want to get some bags for it. Can someone suggest a good size (LWH) of throw over bags. I dont want bags that look to small and dont want big touring bags either.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

Check out Willie and Max bags. They have multiple sizes and one should fit. www.willieandmax.com

Any using the HD Express Rider bags.

Yes, I was thinking about getting some bags for my commute to work. I have an 883L, and also want something small, attractive, useful and not hideously expensive.

Right now I use a messenger bag from Timbuk 2, All black ballistic nylon. Cheap solution, I can stuff a lot into it if need be. But I would like something that doesnt hang on my body.

...errrr.... I'd stay away from bags... leave the bags to the baggers and the sloptails... get a sissy bar and grear rack and a bag for that.&nbsp\\; It's a sportster after all, not a mini-bagger...

I say, put bags on it if you want, don't follow other peoples stupid guidelines. Especially from someone that rides a bike that isn't even considered a Harley..

Ran through the whole bag thing last month. Ended up with a small rack bag for daily stuffs and a large sissy bar bag for longer runs. Think about what you want to carry and base the bag type and style off of that.
